Men Haircuts by Lilian is off Woodside Rd and Central Avenue in RWC in a Strip mall, between Dunkin' Donuts and 3 small restaurants. It is not a Salon, it is haircuts for Men, as the name clearly says, and it is by appointment only. This shop is very busy, so appointments in advance are necessary. However, she uses an app for the appointments, so it will go on your Google calendar, and send you reminders of your appointment date and time. Efficient! Lillian is Vietnamese but speaks perfect English. She is very personable and very efficient in her haircuts. She has over 20 years experience and just celebrated 20 years at this location, her own shop. Lilian is friendly, and great at her job. Lovely community vibe and good value for your dollar. Free wifi, coffee, toys and books for kids.

**Update** By my count there are half a dozen barbers/stylists within walking distance of my apartment. There also a handful of barber/stylists close to my work. I am sure they all do a fine job. However, for the last 2 years I have made the 10 mile drive on Highway 280 to work with Lilian,. It is well worth the trip. She is a very popular and highly regarded stylist for a reason. She is talented , creative, and efficient. She is also an active listener and versatile and engaging conversationalist. She genuinely cares for her family, customers, and community. I also want to echo another review and affirm she is indeed effervescent, attractive, friendly with a kind personal demeanor and attentive customer service. I used to come to this same location many many years ago when Mark was the barber. Four months ago I needed to upgrade from years of giving myself a buzz cut, so my "son in law" recommended I go see Lilian. Super nice surprise to go back to the same location. She has not changed a thing, which in this crazy world is very comforting. Lilian could not be a more genuinely friendly person with a nature that makes a person feel at ease. Of course the best part is her skill and talent at men's hair cutting. She goes about her work with confidence and does what is right for your personality. I'm from out of town and needed a haircut. My cousins live in Redwood City, so while they were at work, I used Google Maps and found this place! Definitely worth every 5 star. I walked in, and Lilian was able to fit me in between two appointments. You can tell Lilian loves her job. She mentioned that she doesn't experience any pain nor stress from standing on her feet 8 plus hours a day. I was amazed at her positivity. This is someone who has found her calling in life! She was easy to talk with and made me feel like a million bucks! If I'm in the area again, I'll visit regardless of the last time I got a cut.
