When I first started coming, I was getting different braid styles, but once I locked my hair, she’s been the one taking care of everything, retwists, two-strand twists, barrel twists, color, and even loc extensions. LaKiaya is consistent, detail-focused, and always makes sure I walk out looking good. She also goes above and beyond with communication. When I moved to California, she even talked to my new stylist so he would understand my hair and keep it right. That meant a lot. I had difficulty communicating with this studio prior to my scheduled appointment. I made multiple attempts via phone, voicemail, and website chat, but responses were delayed or unclear. After notifying the consultant that I needed to cancel due to lack of confirmation, my card was still charged on the appointment date. My bank flagged the charge and it did not go through. I would not personally recommend booking a consultation here if clear and timely communication is important to you.

Owner and proprietor Ms D did my hair. I came in wanting a different hair style. I received great service and the atmosphere was great as well. I have short 4b or c hair and it was cut and styled. I will be coming back!
