Mel's Place

Today was my first time getting my haircut at Mel's and I was very impressed. I recieved an awesome haircut and she was very kind and easy to talk to, I felt very comfortable.

My girlfriend went in to get hair dyed blonde, came back with white hair, broken ends 2 inches away from her scalp. Now I don't know too much about dying hair, but with that and charging over 260 JUST for a hair dye, something doesn't seem right. Cash only

Such a cute store front! Came in for my brother to get a hair cut and he got right in - so yes if they're able to, they take walk ins - and not only did she do a great job on the cut, but she was very friendly. I'll definitely be coming in again soon to get a manicure or a pedicure - can't wait!!

I have been very pleased with the hair cuts I have received and I really appreciate the fact that they give senior citizens a discount on a certain day. Makes getting a haircut more affordable. They also have been very friendly.

I looked this morning online to view the hours hoping if I got in early, I could be in and out, all I wanted was a simple brow wax, nothing crazy. Online it said 9; I get there about 930 a.m. and the hours on the door say 9am to 8pm so I was discouraged to find the door was still locked and there was no one inside. I called thinking maybe someone was in the back and maybe forgot to open the door but no one answered. I will not be returning.
