Mel's Country Barber Shop

I was traveling through town and wanted to get a haircut but not from a salon and spotted this place from the road so gave it a shot. It's a one woman show, the place had country decor, the conversation was engaging and not just the usual small talk, and she shaved the back of my neck with a straight razor. Exceeded my expectations and I'll probably wait until I'm going through town again to get my haircuts.

Had a great experience at Mel’s country barber shop. The atmosphere is warm, and Mel made the experience all the better. She was meticulous and precise while cutting my hair. She is a pro and if you’re looking to get spiffed up, Mel will get the job done right if you tell her what you want. Thanks for a great clean up! I love it! 10 out of 10 recommend this establishment for a fresh cut.

I was visiting from out of town and needed a good haircut. I did some research, and found my way to Mel's Country Barber Shop. I was not disappointed. I communicated to Mel exactly what I wanted, and I got an excellent haircut. The other customers were very friendly and her shop is Clean. I also enjoyed the way it is decorated. Mel is a friendly and a genuinely good person, it's obvious that she enjoys what she does. Thanks for the great haircut Mel! It was a real pleasure.

Mel is an awesome barber. She goes the extra step in doing her job and really makes getting a haircut an enjoyable experience. All that and good conversation too. Very Happy I found her shop.

My 3 year old son messed up his hair and Mel did everything she could to not take it off. She has a lot of patience for little kids ( Ages 2 and 3 Boys). Atmosphere is inviting. Her price was on point. Great experience.
