Melrose Hair and Beauty(3602)

I have been coming to this store since around 2008-9. I've always found everything I need an want. The staff has always been nice an helpful treating me an my mom like fam. But the people following me around at every isle or section was a bit frustrating. I felt like I couldn't take my time an look without one of the people (who I guess watches for thevies) stands at the end of every isle an watches you. I live a hour away, this is the only beauty store I go to......I forgot some things b/c I was alittle uncomfortable felt kind of rushed like get your stuff an get outta here. Clearly must be alot of thefts im assuming. Other than that great place.

Today was my first visit to this store, and I will definitely be back. They were very kind and helpful, I didn’t feel like I was being followed at every corner like in most hair stores. When I checked out the gentleman double charged me, and flagged me back before I left the store. I wouldn’t have known it, and he immediately apologized and gave me my refund. This is an amazing establishment.

Very nice store with an amazing selection of many many beauty items. Reasonably priced and polite staff.

This place overcharges, and when you bring it to their attention, they are dimissive and will tell you that it their store. True it, their store, but if you want to keep honest, customers the service must improve. It's a shame that I have shopped with them for years, and now I have made a decision to never shop with them again. Bought a product for 79.99 plus tax and found the same product from the original seller at 42.97. I understand cost and profit, but this is just excessive.

Came here a couple of times to shop and overall they have good quality items with large variety. However, they do not stick to the prices that are labeled. Picked up a few items that had red sale tag and they did not honor as I was told that they had mistakenly marked it down.
