Hello, I want to clearly state that this message has nothing to do with Melissa or the salon. My experience and concern are strictly related to the hair color product used — Rusk. Approximately three months ago, after a hair color service using Rusk, I developed a severe allergic reaction, including widespread eczema affecting the entire right side of my body. At the time, I did not connect it to the hair color and assumed it might be due to stress, food, or hormonal changes. After medical treatment and topical medications, the reaction slowly subsided. However, last week I had my hair colored again using the same product, and the reaction returned immediately and far more severely — intense itching, rashes, and difficulty breathing. I immediately had my new set soaked off because it looked horrible and ended up getting cut and left with nasty looking hands. Made me never want to get my nails done again ever. Melissa was nice but the experience was horrible for me.

Camilla was very gentle and gave reasonable prices. I enjoyed her soothing music and a massage while drying my hair. She listens to what I wanted and I love my hair color and cut.

Got my nails done today and love them. No line, no traffic as in most shops. However, I've been a loyal customer to Melissa's Hair & Nails for over 19 years.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Nail Salon. My sister's nails and my own are all uneven, have bubbles in them, look like they already need a fill, AND they are also ALL lean to the side!! Not only was she face timing someone the while service. She was sooo rude!! Word to the Wise...Go Anywhere but here! I was told by her that she was the owner. I'm so disappointed I wish I can give them a negative star!
