Mel Berkachi's Barbershop

I just moved in down the street, so I decided to check them out. I had read lots of great reviews about this barbershop and it certainly lived up the hype. I often have a hard time finding a new barber as my hair can be difficult to cut, but Bill did such an amazing job. I’ve been very happy with the results both times I’ve gone to him. The place was very clean and had an overall nice vibe to it. I’d highly recommend checking them out, and I can personally vouch for the quality of Bill’s work!

I have been coming here to see Bill for over a year now, and I can't recommend him enough! I always get a consistently great haircut every time - clean, sharp and always what I asked for. Bill himself is a genuinely nice guy. He makes the time feel relaxed and I never feel rushed. The shop itself is clean, bright and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend Bill and Mel's Barbershop.

I’ve been going to Mel for probably 15-17 years now, he is the best. I’ve changed styles a few times over the years and his expert advice on what would look best for each style has never steered me wrong. I would recommend this gem to anyone. Even though I moved about an hour away 8 years ago, I still come here because Mel and his team are just that good at what they do. Their products such as the Sea Salt Spray are top of the line, and have never failed to disappoint me. Mel makes sure that he only sells the best products, working with companies all over the world to find the perfect formulas.

It’s been over a week since my haircut and I still notice every day how much I love it. Despite receding hairline, Griffin created a cut which looks full and young and stylish. I even called the barbershop just to tell how much I love the haircut a few days later. Two weeks, ago, I would spend over 30 min with my hair every morning, including products and spray bottle and comb and hair dryer … and then I would leave to work telling myself “oh well, it is what it is”. Now, I drive my fingers through my hair a few times and I’m ready to go, with total confidence about my look.
