Mega African Braids

I had the pleasure of being a patron today at Mega African Braids. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere was very nice. It's was relaxing with nice music in the background. My braiders were very professional and efficient. They worked the entire time without stopping. They got me in and out in less than 3 hours. Beautiful experience. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I’ve always been clean-cut and had never tried braids before starting my hair journey in 2024. After months of feeling unsure and searching for the right stylist, I finally got braids for the first time in April 2025. I'm very selective about who touches my hair, so it took six months to find someone I trust. I discovered African Braids three months ago and instantly loved the Christian atmosphere and my amazing stylist, who is professional, pleasant, and passionate. I won’t go anywhere else now—this place has made my hair journey much easier, and the prices are great (though I always tip more). Thank you! After reaching out to four different braiding salons that all said they couldn’t do the style I wanted, I was so relieved to find Mega African Braids! The stylist immediately understood what I wanted for my upcoming music festival and gave me the price upfront - no hesitation at all. Even though there were no photos of the style online, she absolutely exceeded my expectations. My braids looked flawless, I got tons of compliments, and they stayed neat the whole time. The custom playlist made the 2.5-hour appointment fly by, too. Next time, I’m skipping the search and heading straight to Mega African Braids for any custom style!

I’ve been getting my hair done here for 3+ months now. Super nice braids and twists , fast as well. They offer wash and use great products. Highly recommend!
