ME on 2ND Hair Salon

I absolutely LOVED my time at this salon. Booking the appointment was super easy just by texting with the owner. The appointment itself was a perfect way to start my birthday weekend. I got my hair cut and styled by Cathy, who was a delight to talk to - both about hair and about life. She listened to my concerns and kindly walked me through each step that she was doing. I was offered wine and felt extremely comfortable in this salon. My hair turned out exactly as I wanted it and the price I was originally given was what I was expected to pay - no hidden last-minute charges like some other salons! I will definitely be back and getting my cut/style with Cathy!!

We went to this place for a very last minute blow out for a friend and a hair mask for two other people. I didn’t make an appointment or at least I did (same day) but it wasn’t confirmed but we still showed up and they actually squeezed us in to their schedule. I would really recommend to book an appointment. Everyone was very friendly and always try engage you in a conversation. The salon and the bathroom was very clean and is well-kept. I must have missed it but I don’t think they have curling irons here, I think they only use a blow dryer and a round brush for your blow out (at least that’s what they did to my friend). It looks nice tho. Queen was great and my friend she’s fantastic. Our hair was very soft after doing the mask and my friend liked her blowout. I think on their website it

i think salon was okay. I was alittle annoyed with the fact that pricing was way more than i expected as it was clear how the pricing really worked. The process to balayage was very harsh on my hair. When washing the hair, the stylist was extremely rough with taking the knots out of my hair from the teasing he did from the balayage technique. I think they should be a lot more gentle. Also they messed the gloss color the first time but then i asked go fix it the 2nd time and they did which turned out great but took another hour longer which was frustrating. I am very disappointed because i have gotten balayages before the gloss usually stays upto atleast 5 weeks for me. This gloss has only lasted 2 washed which was only like 9 days. Over the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this salon and receiving haircuts from the talented Kathy, Marcos, and Emily. Each visit has been fantastic, and I plan to return as frequently as possible.

Needed a trim badly, called and got in the next day. The entire salon is beautiful and clean. Everyone was great. Emily was wonderful and took time to talk to me about what I was thinking and gave me her thoughts. Trust me I have very fine straight hair. Loved the cut. Will go back for color. I am visiting from out of town but in Philly often. This is now my go to salon. Marcos and Gato were so welcoming.
