I asked for highlights, layers, and wash and go style. The highlights seem closer to hair that has been dyed different shades of blonde. There are no layers and the wash and go was supposedly done by a natural stylist but the products were too heavy for my curl pattern and made my hair look stringy and messy. The stylist seemed unprepared due to the fact that he had to ask many other stylists to borrow their tools. I was rushed out the salon with wet hair so I did not get a a chance to actually see what the final color and style looked like. So when I got home and my hair was a little dryer I could tell I did not like my hair at all. I called the next day and asked for a refund and was told that since I paid I could not be refunded. They offered to fix it but by then I was discouraged and

Paid $265 for color (red-brown on originally black hair) and press and left with hot roots and no change to the rest of my hair. I was still charged full price PLUS extra for extra color. The stylist admitted she didn’t know why the dye didn’t take and offered no fix. I called to ask for a redo and rebooked as instructed, only for the appointment to be canceled last-minute with no follow-up. Then they called on the original appointment day asking if I was coming in—total miscommunication. I emailed and followed up to ask for a refund. No response. When I called again, I was told “we don’t do refunds” and that I’d get a call back from the owner, but that didn’t happen. Unprofessional and completely unacceptable for a botched service. Excited to give my review. I had an exceptional experience with the salon owner, Tanya. The light-skinned lady with the magical voice and Golden locs. . I needed color badly. I was conflicted as to who I would entrust to color my locs. I needed the WORKS. I contacted the salon owner and her experience, education, attention to detail and industrywide recognition was a perfect match. The salon speaks for itself. The pristine, well-configured and beautiful space is offers a sneak peek for what's yet to come. I wanted to go to sleep... My hair was cut, colored, styled and I nearly broke my neck flipping it about. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I'm overdue for a touch up but I have found a salon home.

I came here for a conditioning treatment and blow out. The salon is tastefully designed and the staff here are very courteous and professional. I loved my hair, it was my first time getting a blow out and i would definitely get my hair done again here.
