McAllister Spa - Salon Miami Beach

As a first time, client today just moving from New York City ! Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming! I got a wonderful tour of their beautiful salon. Drew did my color! I love my hair so much. Everyone was incredibly super professional and made my experience so wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

Luis Canas has been my go to hair stylist and colorist since I moved to Miami six years ago. He is the absolute best with blondes (never yellow or brassy). I leave with amazing style, cut and color every time! He has decades of experience in New York and Miami. I trust him completely. I work in hospitality and have sent my guests visiting to him and they always come back smiling and happy with service. The salon and spa are clean with professional and friendly staff. There is free parking in the back of building and easy to book. Prices are reasonable for Miami…. But perfection is priceless! Thank you Luis and McAllister Spa for always being on point and allowing me to feel my best self 🙏

Fiona is amazing, she did an amazing job on my grey blending. It is beautiful, I had an allergy to regular hair dye and she used goldwell elumen to get rid of the remaining yellow highlights and it came out absolutely stunning. Very disappointed due to a lack of pricing transparency. The salon’s website lists female haircut prices at $140–$180. I walked in expecting that range and did not request or select a specific hairstylist—I was simply assigned one. The service was very basic: wash, a brief haircut (about 15 minutes), and a blow-dry. Only after the service was finished, I was told the stylist’s rate is $450, and that I would be charged $300 as a “discount.” This was never communicated beforehand. Charging more than double the advertised price after the service is completed is misleading and unprofessional. Clients should be informed of exact pricing before any service begins.

I booked a mani pedi by calling. They never asked what kind of mani-pedi type, but figured the nail tech would ask when I got there. Online, it was priced at $40 for an express mani pedi. When I arrived, I was waiting for 25 minutes without being acknowledged in their waiting room. I was patiently waiting, but this was my first red flag of unprofessionalism. The nail tech did my manicure first. She was very meticulous about the prep work that went into it, and she took almost 45 minutes, just prepping my nails. I thought she did a very thorough job, however, I wish more time had been spent on the polish job because it has been five days since my mani-pedi, and my french tips are already chipping.
