I’m so glad I did my research and found MaryBeth! After spending what felt like years to find a hairdresser in CT, I finally found someone who took her time and knew exactly what to do with my hair. I was commuting to NYC to see a previous Dominican stylist, but didn’t want to do that 3-hour trek back and forth anymore. As a Latina, my hair is long and curly, but I was ready to chop it off. MaryBeth honestly told me she disagreed and didn’t think that was the right move for me. I’m so glad I listened to her!!! Marybeth is exceptional in her field of hair stylist! She creates what seems like miracles and is able to evaluate the individual client and gently recommend the best look and healthy solutions. I was fortunate to hear about Marybeth right after COVID lockdown ended, and having made my own disaster to my hair during that time. She fixed all (took more than one visit). I also see other people leaving her chair looking amazing! She does a Brazilian blowout that is effective and does not cause any hair damage to sensitive hair. I highly recommend Marybeth!

I just had my hair cut last week at highly rated salon in Waterford. I was not happy with the way my hair was cut. It was uneven and choppy. I went back to the stylist and was told that is the way my hair falls. I was not satisfied with that response. It was fate that I found Marybeth on Google. After reading all her positive reviews, I called and made an appointment with her. But when I was out running errands, I decided to stop by and check out the salon before my appointment. She was just finishing up with a client and said she had time to look at my hair and do a dry cut. She agreed with me and actually showed me where some hair was shorther than it should have been and where the layers were uneven. She also found a small bald spot on the back of my head.
