Mays Nails

We had an appointment with this salon for 6pm on Friday evening and they cancelled it when we called to confirm. So on Saturday (today) we called in and made an appointment for 5:30pm. We show up for the appointment a half hr early so we would have time to choose the color we wanted before the appointment and when we walk in they tell us that they can’t keep the appointment because they had to close due to having other plans. Why make the appointment and then not follow thru with doing the work? Why wait until we already drove in there to tell us they were canceling it for the second time in a row within 2 days? This place is horrible. Don’t waste your time or money with them!!

When we first arrived no one talked to us for 10 minutes. They just stood there and stared. Man filed my skin and cut me open. He was yelling and fighting with a woman the whole time he did my nails. They are not done well. They are missing polish in some places, uneven, and the design they gave me was ugly. Never going back. Going to get them re-done somewhere else. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

It's okay, but I wouldn't come here. I'd go to SD nails right up the road. The people here are a bit weird and don't fix nails correctly. The nail I had repaired didn't match the rest of my nails at all. Completely different shape and was slanted up instead of down like the rest. I dont recommend unless no where else is open and you need a quick fix for a day or 2 and get them redone somewhere else

I would not recommend this nail salon. My daughter and I have been there and we have both had our fingers cut and filed till they bled by one of the male technicians. He also made the acrylic extremely thick and refused to fix it when requested. Then painted the white tips on crooked and got white nail polish on all of my fingers. My requests for it to be fixed were ignored. There is also a very unfriendly vibe from most of the staff. The only person who was friendly was a much older woman who helped with my pedicure. I was also very concerned about the extremely unsanitary conditions of the salon. The tools were dirty as were all of the nail stations. I will not return to this salon.

The absolute worst‼️ Im from out of town & my first time at this location & I advised the gentleman the length I wanted for my nails. He advised he knows what he’s doing. I said sir I don’t want them this short & he said well now you’ve made me nervous I keep talking & due to Covid we haven’t been open long & he’s trying. I told him it doesn’t matter I paid for a service Covid has nothing to do with him preforming his job! My left hand is longer than my right. I sure wish this would allow me to post a picture
