Mayfield Village Barber Shop

Girlfriend and I walked in looking to get her a haircut. When a seat opened up, the guy tried to get me to get a haircut. After telling him twice that the haircut wasn't for me, he got defensive and loudly said "I'm a barber! I don't touch women's hair!" We were about to leave when one of the women cutting hair stepped in and offered to cut my girlfriend's hair. The haircut was good and we were both happy. I wish I could remember her name, but I forgot. It was the woman with shoulder length black hair. Other than the bad interaction with the shorter male barber, the only other negative was that I didn't see the piece of paper saying no card payments until after the haircut was starting. I've been coming to Mayfield Village Barber Shop for over 20 years, since I was a little kid. After Joe retired during Covid I started seeing Terry, and she's the best. She gives a great haircut and we always have great conversations. It's always a great experience and I can't see myself going anywhere else anytime soon.

If you have a beard, AL is the absolute BEST. He is so meticulous, takes such care to make sure the beard looks absolutely perfect, someone who really takes pride in his work! He does great haircuts too, is super friendly and personable. You will not be disappointed.

Took my son in today for a back to school haircut..Stella did an amazing job, my favorite cut he’s ever had..I love it and we will be back!

Called and got same day appointment with Nancy who did a wonderful job! have gotten a few cuts from different barbers here and they’ve all been fantastic. It is CASH ONLY but Nancy was so nice to let me run to the ATM. would recommend.
