I been going to max for many years but started going more often when I moved closer to the area. The customer service is hit or miss. Some days they are super friendly & some days they’re not. Max still has a lot of pack hair that has been discontinued in a lot of other beauty supply stores .. I asked the taller Asian man can he let me see & feel the textures of 3 different brand pack hairs behind the counter. I can tell he was a little irritated. He started huffing & puffing. But I just wanted to check the hair before I spend $70+ per pack on hair that I never tried. I brushed it off & bought 2 packs. I came back a few days later to buy a relaxer & the same man was coming around the corner w a cart & we almost ran into each other but I’m the only one who said excuse me. Overall my experie

They had a good selection, nice owners, they really do cater to the black community as a whole, when I went I was short 1 cent, they let me go. Good and honest people

I came here to get some coloring for my hair and the lady was so kind and helped me get the right color that I needed. I went home got it done and it turned out great

Very poor customer service. Drove one hour just to get here at 9:15 and find out it’s wasn’t open. I see 2 people just seated in their car
