I left there absolutely loving my hair! Mauricio did an amazing job. He brought it back to life.I got a head massage with the shampoo service and highlights to take as much of that black out and y’all he did that !! 💅🏽 the customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

I went to Mauricio regularly a couple years ago, and while his work is fantastic and I rarely left feeling any less than my best, his recent price changes made it so I haven't been able to go back. $125 for a haircut is out of my price range, sorry. I also left with chemical burns twice after bleaching under the heat lamp, which messed up my color because of the scabs and colors bleeding into each other, but he was very apologetic and fixed the color for free and was more careful with bleaching me going forward.

Shelby worked her magic once again! I went in a couple weeks ago or so for a cut. And a few days ago, my beloved went in for a cut as well. Looking forward to going back for some color. ❤️ Beautiful salon!

We just moved back to Tucson, and looking for a good salon to cut my curly hair caused me great anxiety.  After reading all the great reviews about Mauricio Fregoso Salon, I decided to check them out, AND I LOVE THEM!!!  DANIELLE cut my crazy curly long hair that had not been cut in a long time and was wild, and gave me the most beautiful medium length, layered bob.  She was excellent and really knows her stuff.  She didn't just cut it, she sculpted it, to fit my heavy face, so the ends laid nice and neat and the curls were free to show themselves if I want to wash and go, but she blew it into a beautiful style with only a hint of product, I think it was a light oil Mauricio product that made it silky and shiny and beautiful. Mauricio colored and cut my hair. It cost more than I've ever spent on my hair at one appt. but... I love it and it was worth every penny. The color works well with my skin tone and Mauricio showed me how to deal with a cowlick that I have. I loved the cut/style from the minute I walked out the door. A lot of times I end up going home and restyling my hair but, not this time. I'm also able to style it easily on my own, a good cut. Plus, everyone there is really friendly and kind. It's a relaxing atmosphere. Mauricio knows what he's doing.
