Been a customer of Matthews for the last 30+ years. Matt has been my main stylist for all of those years, however recently I have had services provided by other members of the team, and can say each provides excellent care and service. Matthew’s is always aesthetically pleasing to the senses, and provides a relaxing salon experience that you will look forward to at every visit. Check them out!

I first had my hair done at the Cazenovia location with Joanie who was not welcoming at all. I never went back. I then visited the DeWitt salon twice, both times for highlights with Brooke. Although both visits were professional and welcoming my hair didn't look any different than when I walked in. I have left a message sharing my concerns and no one has replied. A total waste of money at both locations.

I scheduled a massage with Pamela Walker which I had today. I have been suffering from chronic pain and headaches and was hoping for some relief. We communicated throughout the massage about painful areas so that she was able to take special care while still working on those areas to bring some relief. She made sure to check with me throughout about whether the amount of pressure was tolerable. It is now evening and I do see some improvement overall, especially with my mood! I already made an appointment with her for next week as well. I have had quite a few massages in my time and Pamela really is the best.

I wanted to try out a new salon closer to home and I saw this one on my way to the gym. I thought this was going to be a great experience, but unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way. The girl who did my hair was really nice. However, she didn’t layer my hair evenly, one side wasn’t really layered at all in the back. My daughter’s really into these things and she noticed when I got home. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to go back. The hair washing was uncomfortable, water was on the cool side and it ran down into my back. I feel like going to the salon should be an enjoyable, relaxing experience and this just wasn’t.
