I scheduled a balayage with Jennie. When I left, I wasn’t loving it, but thought I’d grow to like it or maybe I’d asked for the wrong thing. I’m non confrontational so I wasn’t going to do anything about not liking it. Directly following my appointment I had the flu and the was out of town so I continued to just try to like it. When I got back to Denver, I visited a different salon because Jennie had not cut my bangs the way I had asked so this other salon said they would help free of charge. When I sat in her chair she was APPALLED at the state of my hair. Told me I needed to go in the salon and get a color correction or my money back. Gracie was amazing, already booked my second appointment with her! my highlights turned out soooo well, from color to how percise they are!!! my hair is fine and naturally more warm toned, and Gracie flawlessly and with ease was able to make my hair look more into the cool tones! she is a great listener and by far the best consultantation I have had! I look and feel like a new person, thank you Gracie, you're a magician and great to spend almost 4 hours with!

Devon did an amazing job with my hair! I have naturally dark brown hair and it is very thick. I wanted a hair trim and hair lightening to feel like there was life brought back into my hair and face, and she did just that!! She took the time to consult with me, recommend what was best for my hair and how to keep it healthy, and was very intentional with everything she did. I am so thankful I went to her and am so happy with the results 🤗

I’ve waited a long time to write this because I wanted to be calm and factual. This review reflects my experience with Mathew Morris Salon in 2023. I had been a client at this salon years ago and had great experiences. Perhaps management changed or something, I am not sure, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The quality has declined significantly, and based on my experience, staff training appears inconsistent. I came in with completely virgin hair that I had not colored in four years, aside from regular trims. I take meticulous care of my hair. I completed the intake form requesting very minimal, natural-looking balayage that would blend with my natural light brown color. Lexi did a great job on toning down the summer time blonde in my hair, giving it a great root shadow blend and darkening the crown to give it extra dimension and contrast for the fall. It looks fab! 10/10
