A week in advance, I made a 10:30AM appointment to get my hair blown for Saturday 12/20/25. Tell me why when I called to inform her I’ll be running just 10 minutes late, she told me she forgot she had a shift as a home health aid to complete first. But she’ll be available at 2:30 PM. I accepted it, because I need to look nice for my 6PM annual dinner with my coworkers. I am a 4C girlie that didn’t Bantu knot my hair night before, so I had to carry out my plans with this Salon. I arrive at 3 o’clock. Instead of doing my hair right away, she did two other customers first! She started me after 4 PM, and I left the salon sometime after 5:30 PM. I got to the dinner terribly late.. I do feel that she didn’t make me a priority as she should because i’m a first time, customer, plus my hair is

Cautionary tale for anyone looking for a new hair salon: DO NOT GO HERE. If you’re a natural hair girl looking to get your hair blown out for a special occasion do not come to this salon. I got my hair done for a special event and made clear I did not want my hair to be relaxed. After insisting and me not budging she did my wash and blew out my hair, and then insisted on cutting my ends, to which I said no thank you. A week later my hair gets wet and it smells like nothing but harsh chemicals, and my curl pattern is not the same, my ends will not curl anymore. This salon is putting straightening chemicals in their products even when you refuse to have your hair relaxed. Avoid this paced if you want to keep your natural curl pattern.
