Master Barber NYC - Park Slope

I never write bad reviews, and I always thought this place was nice, most of the time I’m happy with the results. But today I got an “haircut” by a younger gentleman. He was nice and kind but couldn’t understand my directions. And that’s ok to an extent. but at the end when he used the machine to buzz my hair in the back he did this, see picture. I’m sorry to say they have lost a customer. I had to run to a pharmacy right after to get hydrogen peroxide and aloe Vera. I really don’t mean to be mean, but this hurts, and I came in here because I need to look good for a big event I have tomorrow… and this is not ok…

I’ve tried many barbershops in the area over the years, and most of them delivered average results at best. When I came to this shop for the first time, I was genuinely impressed. He gave me a clean, precise fade quickly and with confidence. The cut looked great right away. I returned for a second visit, and he refined the style even further. The improvements he made showed real attention to detail and a solid understanding of what would look best on me. That consistency and skill are what made me decide this would be my regular barbershop. Since then, every haircut has been sharp, professional, and reliable. I leave satisfied every time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a barber who actually listens and delivers quality work.

Definitely hard to find a good barber in the area. Always willing to pay double if it’s a good haircut They should really take off their walk-in appointment signs because you can walk in there. Nobody’s doing anything and they’ll still refuse your haircut. So book an appointment online don’t go in Store. Even when you book an appointment, you end up waiting 20 minutes I would suggest just going to Longview and saving yourself That headache. It sucks. I recommended them to so many people It just seems like that’s the constant here in Marshall, Texas. People will give you the bare minimum and expect you to be happy.

Walked in on a whim, and got one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. The stylist was attentive, careful and really listened to what I wanted. She checked in often and I was extremely happy with the results. I’ll come back for every hair cut!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Everybody here is super kind and friendly, we walked in with my two year old and Berta worked her magic on him. She was incredibly patient with my toddler, truly gifted working with kids! My little man looks so dapper with his new haircut. Great location, they take walk-ins, amazing with children and the cut is only $25. Can’t ask for more! So glad to have found this place.
