In my 55 years of life I have had many, many, many, many, many massages. Many styles of massages from many different levels of expertise along the way.... The bottom line is there is not one of them that would even come close to comparing to the level of what this massage was and what it did for my body. Not only that the knowledge that Kelly has is by far one of the most in-depth vocabularies and knowledge of what muscles are attached to other muscles or how they're all tied in together... It was literally a mind-blowing experience...

I have been going to see Kelly at Massage Michigan for regular massages for years. I found her by word-of-mouth referrals, and I was absolutely lead in the right direction. I continue to see Kelly because she is very knowledgeable in massage therapy, and has fixed many an ailment for me (as a result of exercise, posture, minor injuries, etc), for which I am always grateful and impressed. Kelly will give as light or as intense of a pressure as you can tolerate (if you ask her to!) and is no nonsense - she'll tell you what is stuck, what is out of line, and if appropriate, will give suggestions for additional healing and recovery outside of massage therapy (e.g. stretches, rest, gentle movement, additional providers, etc).
