Massage Envy

This was my first time going to the Massage Envy Timonium location. I was able to book an appointment online the week before. They are located in the Yorkridge Shopping Center, along York Road and W Ridgely Road. I got a courtesy text message appointment reminder the day before my appointment. On the day of I was running late and called to let them know that I was on my way. Though I may be a bit late due to the traffic and weather. I was sooo glad my driver got me there just in time for my appointment. The front desk staff were very professional and polite. She showed me where the Relaxation/ Waiting Room Area was. In my opinion, bad customer service. Massage Envy Timonium, MD refused to negotiate credits earned as massages unless I paid them additional service fees. They stated it was a corporate headquarters policy. They stated you need to pay for a year to get discounted rate. My resolve to them, provided to the BBB, was to pro rate the massages at the full cost to reduce 5 credits to 3. Win win for each party. Massage Envy corporate agreed a good course of action to resolve the issue and relayed to Timonium Massage Envy. Timonium was to get back to BBB to provide response. Timonium Massage Envy did not respond to the BBB or me. The BBB stated their rating would be dropped based on no response to them. In my opinion bad customer service. Very happy with my whole experience at Massage Envy in Towson yesterday. Appreciate the kindness and courtesy of all staff I interacted with there. My wonderful daughter gifted me with a luxurious facial session as a Mothers Day present. Enjoyed every minute of it from start to finish! Jessica's services were outstanding; in fact, so it was so relaxing and such a tranquil atmosphere I fell asleep for a few moments. Her soothing touch and the delicious smells wafting around lulled me right to dream land. I plan to come back in the near future. Went for a 90-minute massage with Angie and it was fabulous. I selected Angie because she uses the full range of massage pressures from light to deep. She worked on my full back with a range of pressures and was completely amazing. My back was the loosest it’s felt in over a year. Will definitely be going back.

Jacqueline was awesome. Very friendly and attentive to my needs. Often asked how everything was and if there was anything else she can do to make the massage more satisfying. Made me feel that she really cared and I will be back.
