Massage Envy

⸻ I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Massage Envy, and it is entirely due to the disrespectful and unprofessional management at this location. The front desk employee, Cory, was absolutely nasty—rude, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. At one point, she hung up on me when I called prior to my appointment that my husband made for me, which is completely unacceptable for any business, let alone one that claims to be customer-focused. The manager is even worse. While I was in the bathroom, I overheard her loudly talking to a therapist about other therapists, gossiping and saying she “doesn’t care if she loses them.” Hearing management speak that way about staff made it very clear why this location is such a mess. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life! I have been trying to cancel my membership for months with this massage envy location. The reasoning behind is canceling is it is very difficult to make an appointment when you want to and for the price, the scheduling should be a little easier. They make it nearly impossible to cancel. The first call was in either October or November and the woman I spoke with was very kind, and I paid my membership through the end of the year, even though I never used any of my services. I honored my contract and paid for the year - they were supposed to send me a cancelation form at the time of that first call and a receipt stating that I paid in full for the year. This place is a SCAM! I should have heeded the warnings of the other reviewers. It is impossible to get in contact with management to cancel your membership. I have been trying to get in contact with Jamie since 12/19, officially TWO MONTHS, to cancel my membership and she conveniently is never in. This is absolutely unacceptable. I warn you do not do business with this facility, you will be ignored and charged against your permission. It is clear that this is an ongoing issue. Something needs to be done about this place, they cannot keep getting away with this.

The membership is a complete scam! Limited apts for massages available. No customer service. The people that work there are nice but management is terrible. Better off with Merrick they are so much nicer!

I have been trying to get out of this membership for the last year and a half. I have spoken to the managers at least 5 times. I went in 3/7/25 and handed in my cancelation membership. That was march 2025. And was charged 80.00 for 4 months straight. Total 320.00. Despite the messages i had to get a lawyer. Despite the letter from my attorney, i still had to go to bank and report they're charges. Now another letter is being sent. Next step is to take this abuse and lack of management to the next level. DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE.
