Massage Envy

This was my first visit to the Marlton, NJ location, and from the moment I walked in, the tone was off. I was not greeted or acknowledged upon arrival. The front desk staff member was engaged in what appeared to be a personal phone conversation and did not apologize or thank me for waiting. The intake process felt abrupt and impersonal rather than welcoming for a first-time guest. My appointment was with Adam at 6:00 PM. I clearly communicated that I prefer medium pressure and identified my areas of concern. Unfortunately, that feedback did not seem to be considered. The pressure was excessively firm and uncomfortable, and portions of the session felt more like an unsolicited stretch service than a massage. My wife and I visited yesterday for a couple's massage. Upon arrival, Morgan welcomed us. She explained options for membership, explored upgrades and set the tone for the experience. Jennifer and Ashley were our Masseuses and they were phenomenal! They were attentive, intentional and personal. Would 10/10 recommend this location!!

I was given a gift card for a massage for my birthday, so I went to the closest Massage Envy location. Vince checked me in. He was friendly and knowledgable. James did a great job performing my deep massage. I felt comfortable asking for him to go lighter if needed. He checked in with me throughout to make sure I was comfortable. It was a very relaxing session! I could not have asked for a better experience.

I had my first massage at the Massage Envy in marlton a few weeks ago. The therapist James was great! He gets 5 stars!! His hands were strong and just what my body needed during a 90 minute session. I’ve been to higher end spas but at this price point it was worth it. I was going to leave this review as 5 stars, but I was turned off by the pushy sales lady at the front desk who kept insisting on me buying a membership…it was uncomfortable! I’m not sure what part of NO she wasn’t getting. It was also weird that when I first arrived this same woman never even looked up and acknowledged me, yet now she’s enthusiastically trying to sell me something…NO THANKS! Jennifer was INCREDIBLE! I prefer a very strong massage and she did not disappoint. She found and worked out all the knots in my back while periodically checking in on my comfort. She left me feeling amazing, highly recommend and will definitely visit again!
