Massage Envy

From the moment I walked in, this place was an absolute pleasure. Christina, the manager, already had me signed in and ready to go, which immediately set the tone for an amazing experience. My facial was with Bahura, and she was wonderful. We talked and laughed the entire time, and she truly made the service enjoyable. Next up was my massage with Kyla, and it was fantastic. One of the best massages I’ve had. I especially want to highlight Christina because she truly went above and beyond for me on my birthday. She took the time to look into my account, noticed that I previously had a membership, and genuinely made it her mission to help me. I’m giving this place 3 stars because staff were super nice and the location was clean and a calm atmosphere. I’m also not a member of massage envy but my massage with Brittany was probably the third worst I’ve ever had. She focused on one area of my body for the entire massage then took maybe 10 minutes to push on my legs and feet (maybe a muscle tension release technique). She also ended the massage 10 minutes early which I guess gave me time to get dressed and her time to prepare for her next client but for the price of this massage it was not worth it at all. I maybe got a 30 minutes massage when I paid for 60. Not to mention this massage happened on my actual birthday so it was really a waste of my time

My overall experience with Massage Envy in Laurel has been amazing. The Masseuse they have on staff are all great. The front desk staff are always very professional and friendly. What I love most is that the supervising staff are personable and really care about the customers and the professionals they employ. This is a great place to begin self care on a regular basis.

The front desk staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. That said, I have recently grown uncertain about how the tipping amounts are being calculated at checkout. During my last visit, I used my membership points for a 90-minute session, yet the system reflected a suggested tip in the range of $45–$70. This appears higher than expected, given that the service was charged as 1.5 credits. I have noticed similar inconsistencies on other occasions, where the 20% calculation for the same service varied significantly.
