Massage Envy

I was lucky enough to book a random massage appointment while in town. I was just hoping to unwind after a long work weekend filled with several zoom meetings and thought this might be a good way to end the busy day. I booked with anyone available as I have never been to this location before. Sometimes it is hit or miss on a first visit. I never expected this! I was sent to heaven with the massage therapist Cassidy. I had not noticed how much tension I was holding in my upper body. I asked for focus on low back and my dominant side as I felt that would be a good place to start. About 30 seconds into the massage I felt a magical sensation flow from her hands into my back. She gently applied pressure to begin on my shoulders and worked down my spine toward the hips. It was incredible. About

Patrick did a wonderful massage concentrating on my upper back, shoulders and neck. His pressure was perfect and he adjusted my arms to expose muscles in different positions. Thank you Patrick.

I'm not a fan of this location. I have had quite a few last-minute cancelations from them. One was actually while waiting in the office. I guess their time is much more important than mine. They're not very understanding when you are sick or have an emergency and cancel just after there cut off rule. Guess I should have gone in sick?

This Massage Envy is delightful! The front staff are always welcoming, friendly, and offer to get me a cup of water. I’ve been seeing Lisa for prenatal massages which have been wonderful and help me so much. She is friendly, compassionate, professional, and I always leave there feeling better. Other staff that I have run in to have also been extremely kind and check up on me while I’m in the waiting area. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the facility is very clean making it such a welcoming place!

I got there yesterday and the receptionist looked like she had a cold. I was new so she used a tablet to fill in some information and then gave me the tablet. She saw no problem with this. I was introduced to Patrick for the massage. He was personable enough but I came in with no neck pain and a day later I still have it. My mildly sore back is now much worse. This is a day later. He knows nothing about massage. He went across muscles most of the time instead of with them. He focused on signal spots till the tightened into a knot. The only massage that could be worse would be an admitted sadist. Nothing he did made me feel good or better. NOTHING for an hour. I've never had a massage that didn't make me feel better.
