Massage Envy

Today I went in for a massage with Jess G. The massage was amazing. She communicated with me very well. She told me to let her know if I wanted her to change pressure or anything and I didn't cause it was perfect, but she communicated with me and that was important. Didn't feel like I'd have to just grit my teeth and bear it if I didn't enjoy it. I just recently lost one of my best friends and she warned me that a massage could release those emotions and it did a lil bit. When the flood gates opened after the massage the girls at the front counter were amazing. I let them know I just lost someone close to me and started crying and they were very comforting. I signed up for the membership for awhile. I've never even considered doing that anywhere else. Very satisfied with my experience. Wil

I treated myself to a massage for the first time in YEARS yesterday and Massage Envy did NOT disappoint. I had my reservations about going to a “chain,” but the staff made this such an amazing experience. Mackenzie at the front desk was so helpful and informative. It never felt like she was only trying to “sell” me on anything even when she was telling me about the membership plan, which I will be joining as long as I can request Justin K. again! Justin was my massage therapist and he did an absolutely amazing job! I went in for a deep tissue massage, with specific problem areas, and Justin was perfectly communicative, extremely professional, and his massage techniques were truly magical. I can’t get enough of this place. I can make my appointment online or over the phone. I am at ease when I get my massage without a care in the world. If you need a massage, book here and nowhere else.

Very disappointed in my massage today. After having excruciating migraines this weekend, I was desperate for some relief and booked this massage last night. I guess there’s a reason this appointment was available. First of all, I paid for a 90 minute massage and received an 80 minute massage. But the massage was so unpleasant, I wasn’t going to argue for the ten minutes. It was definitely the worst massage I’ve ever had. The head pillow was not adjusted correctly. It seemed like the more I squirmed and winced from motions that made me uncomfortable, the more she continued to do them. It just wasn’t relaxing. At all. And it sucks to pay so much money and feel like you wasted it. Hard lesson learned.

ME is okay, at best. A handful of the therapists I've had were amazing, but the massive problem we've had is lack of appointments. My girlfriend paid for the membership for a year, which is one massage a month "free" (it's $75/month for discounted massages basically), but literally NEVER could book an appointment at this location. Nothing is available for MONTHS and we can't easily book forever in advance with our jobs. So we'd go to another Cola location, since it's supposedly transferrable, and it was the biggest pain in the foot to get the credit transferred. It made this membership literally pointless. I absolutely would not get the membership again and would rather find somewhere that actually has appointments/staff. It's been an extremely disappointing experience and certainly expect
