Massage Envy

My husband and I booked a couples massage here and were so impressed with the service we received! We were a little apprehensive just because of the previous reviews, but Mac and Jesse did an incredible job and we left feeling like we truly got our moneys worth out of the massages. The atmosphere was relaxing and all the staff were extremely attentive the entire time. Great experience overall!

After having an hour massage at the Hamburg, NY location I www brought to tears! I suffer from chronic pain due to an autoimmune disorder. I was very clear that I have full body pain, but that I really needed to focus on the occipital the trap and shoulders none of which were ever touched in my massage session. I mentioned something when the masseuse said OK the session was over. I said, but we didn’t even get to any of my concern areas. He said yeah we ran out of time. Honestly very disappointed in my experience here, I would not recommend going here. I’ve never tried a chain massage place, but my boyfriend booked a massage for me for Valentine’s Day. It was supposed to be a 60 minute Full-Body Massage (I did not know all the details until I got home and told my boyfriend about the experience), but instead I got a ‘50’ minute which is not even an option online and the masseuse said he doesn’t do full body massages in 50 minutes because it was not enough time. This already was disappointing because there was no warning online or from staff about this but I went along with it- he ended up just doing my upper back, really did not hit any of the target areas I said I was most in pain and overall the massage felt like a bunch of weird rubbing. The ABSOLUTE WORST Massage Envy I’ve ever been to or communicated with. DO NOT GO HERE. I called in August to cancel my membership and was told it was confined and had been cancelled. I had to pay for September and that was fine, I booked an appointment. I confirmed leaving my appointment in September my membership was cancelled and told yes. They call me on October 3 to help me book my remaining membership credits from my CANCELLED membership and I said I would call back. SURPRISE billed for October membership. WHAT THE HELL?! I contact them and am told “oh there’s a form to fill out to cancel” - no one told me that and your actions say otherwise. It has now been 2 weeks with no response to any follow ups. Received a gift card for my birthday 🎂 last year valued at $125 i used for a massage almost a year later . There was NOTHING relaxing about for the therapist Chis wanted to just talk about his entire life 🙄🤯. It started right at the meet & greet . As for the receptionist from the day I booked my appointment in person ,to day of appointment & after massage trying to push a membership is just disgusting. Overwhelming & horrible experience. When i left i had a headache & never felt like I even received a massage.. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
