Massage Envy

Never had a bad massage until now. Katie, older lady very inexperienced seemed to walk around and talk so she didn't have to do her job. Breath was horrible. Didnt know how to use the cupping cups so, money wasted there. Just a horrible experience. Ill never choose this place again. Management or owner needs to get their hiring in check before this place flops.

Hard to get appointments because they can't seem to keep staff. Rick is the best therapist. Seats in the waiting area need cleaned. Better therapist recruitment and pay needs addressed.

Very poor experience. Made an appointment for 4pm, showed up at 3:50 to people that looked shocked I was there. I received a confirmation call the night before confirming the 4pm appointment. They moved my appointment the same day without telling me. They couldn't find any therapist to take the appointment as I was sitting in the waiting room because they were all on break. I promptly cancelled my membership and will not be returning to this location. The individuals in there were nice enough, just horrible service and not worth the money. Would give 0 stars if that were an option. Spend your money elsewhere Update: after I filled out the link from owner it said I would be contacted within 48 hours. It's been 7 days further enforcing my point of awful customer service at this location.

I never leave reviews but wow the level of fraudulence and unprofessionalism with this merchant is surreal! I called to schedule an appointment online, and staff told me I could only schedule an appointment as a member, which I agreed to. She created one for me and said I could access my appointments to make changes and cancel, which I didn't do immediately. I made an appointment with them over the phone.i was out of town for work and called 48hrs to cancel after I couldn't access the account they had created. I left them a voicemail after trying everything. These people still charged me full price as a no-call no-show and claimed I didn't leave any voicemail. I’ve been a member of massage envy since 2007 and have never experienced disrespect and incompetence the way I have at this location by the front desk staff. (Therapist was great) but front desk rude. First they scheduled me for a session, 5 mins later I received a call I had to pay the non-member rate. The front desk employee said she was sorry that the other employee messed up and that she doesn’t know what she’s doing- (throwing her own coworker under the bus). I called my home location (not Barboursville) to sort it out. They did. When I went for my session, they checked me out under the wrong customer. When I asked for change for a $20, the front desk staff rolled their eyes. As I’m leaving one of the staff run out into the parking lot calling “miss” to tell me the other employee ran
