Marty Mar Barber Shops

My dad took my son here to get a hair cut on July 9th, 2022. My son has eczema, which could be clearly seen BEFORE he got the haircut. Instead of the barber saying he couldn’t do it, he cut around it and charge $15. Had my son looking like patches. The barber took advantage of a old man and gave a horrible service.

I love this location water ice. My family has enjoyed the different types of water ice from this location.

He just simply can't cut hair. From my personal experience, I have been to this barbershop on multiple occasions. The prices for the haircuts are a bit overpriced for his skill level; he just can't line you up correctly without your hairline growing at different rates. That's just his barbershop I've had a few bad experiences with his ice cream shop too. One day, I was with my friends, and we decided to go chill and sit at Marty Mar. We got a little hungry and decided to order a hot dog because we'd never ordered it from him before—we've only had his water ice. As I order the hot dog, Marty Mar charges me $2.50 for it, and I proceed to pay. He has this little shack where he keeps all the water ice stuff, and he also has a microwave in there. First visited on the cusp of a snowstorm. He took my son as a walk-in price much cheaper than his normal barber and he did a good job. Visited a 2nd time on another barber emergency.

I’ve been living in the Southwest area for almost three years now. Since I moved here I noticed there was a Barbershop/Ice Cream Shack. It’s called Marty Mar. I loved the the Ice Cream Shack, never had any complaints! Up until tonight! My entire household would order from this Marty Mar’s Ice Cream Shack. He’s only open three-four months out of the year. In the three years we’ve lived in this neighborhood, I’ve considered ourselves loyal customers to the older gentleman that owns Marty Mar’s Ice Cream Shack. Well tonight around 9:56pm, my Wife and my four year Son went to get a Chocolate Ice Cream Cone, a Blueberry Gelati and a Chocolate Milkshake.
