I have strawberry blond (going gray) curly/wavy hair. If u are reading this and have strawberry blond and/or curly hair- u know what I mean when I say - it can feel impossible to find a good hair stylist/colorist in one! And you find yourself yelling in frustration - “What DOES A GIRL HAVE TO DO to get a good hair cut / color in South Jersey?” And then, I met Travis at Martino Cartier over a year ago. He is THE BEST! Thank his for Travis! He has been coloring and cutting my hair every 7 weeks - keepin’ the gray out! - for over a year now and his color match, highlight and glaze are always spot on! I never have to worry if I’m going to leave to light or to dark. He really knows color! He always understands what I want in a cut - every time. I never have to worry! And that is a hug

I can’t thank Martino enough for how he took care of my mom. Finding out she has cancer has been so hard for all of us and losing her hair was something that she was dreading. We had our consultation last week and we walked in teary eyed but left smiling/laughing after how funny, truthful, and caring Martino is. He gives his honest opinion and you can just tell he has so much experience and heart behind what he does. I knew she was in good hands. We went back today (a week later) and he made sure my mom got exactly what she wanted (bangs & all) hahahaha. My mom is my favorite person in the whole world & watching her go through this is so hard - but seeing how she lit up seeing herself after made me feel so much better. Martino has the biggest heart and is truly an amazing human being. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting him in person when I visited his beautiful salon to receive a free wig. From the moment I arrived, he treated me with so much kindness, care, and respect. He asked me exactly what kind of wig I wanted, including the color, and then returned with two beautiful options. He patiently asked which one I liked best and immediately began the process. He gently shaved my head, then carefully placed the wig I chose. When he turned my chair toward the mirror, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I couldn’t stop crying—seeing human hair on my head again made me feel whole, confident, and truly happy. This salon is the most beautiful welcoming salon I’ve ever been to. Martino and the young ladies at the front desk were so kind and welcoming! We came in today to receive a wig for my mom since she’s going through chemotherapy. Martino was very kind and respectful to my mom , he asked how she wanted her wig to be and he had the perfect wig for her. when he put the wig on her and she saw herself she was so happy she couldn’t contain the happy tears. Martino is such an amazing person helping out people who are going through a hard battle that cancer is. Thank you for making my mom’s day Martino , you helped her see the light in the midst of this battle. You’re truly an inspiration to us stylists as well and the world.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, black and gold accents throughout, with stunning windows that open during the warmer months. The property itself is beautiful, complete with a farm and some really unique features on the grounds. Chrissy is incredible at color and somehow keeps my hair healthy at the same time. The front desk staff is always cheerful, welcoming, and helpful. The prices are very fair, and I never feel pressured or upcharged. Without a doubt, this is the place to go for all your hair needs. ✨
