Marsi Hair Studio

Marsi was my first ever hairdresser experience! I was a little nervous never having been to a salon before but she made it a very comfortable experience. She listened to exactly what I wanted, gave me some options for how to change it up, and did a fabulous job with my hair. I was so happy with the results. She is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her!

We recently moved to Farmington and were seeking a new family friendly salon we could all go to. Our first appointment was for our 10 year old daughter looking to freshen up her hairstyle. Such a great experience from start to finish. She was thrilled with her result! Our six year olds appointment was quickly scheduled and I’m excited to schedule my own soon! Marsi’s warm and welcoming energy made us feel at home and already apart of the family!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I was frustrated with my experience and will be transparent. The first thing is on me because I needed someone to do my hair for my wedding at the last minute, so I did not think to agree on a price with Marsi ahead of time. I have straight, shoulder length hair with an undercut and I wanted some loose curls for my wedding day. I paid a $50 deposit for the time slot. When she was done with my hair (took about 80 minutes) she told me it would be an additional $200. When my jaw dropped, she said she could lower it by $10. I paid with a credit card on her phone and it then asked me for a tip. This was not a big salon. Her salon space is a part of the basement of her house. I was shocked and felt taken advantage of. Marsi is a wonderful stylist! She listens carefully and cares about her customer's satisfaction, offering a personalized experience. She does a brilliant job with highlights and cuts. I always receive compliments from others and leave her salon very happy. I definitely recommend it!

She is the absolute best. I have been going to her for years and she always goes above and beyond to give me exactly the results I want. She is thoughtful, listens to every detail and is an overall kind and considerate person and always professional. 10/10
