However, Christina has completely changed my relationship with my hair!! I booked a session with her where she not only gave me an amazing haircut, but gave me step my step information about what my hair really needs. She asked me to bring in all my hair products and tools so that she could guide me around what makes sense for my hair and, even more important- how to effectively use them them! I first heard of Kira when I saw that she was offering free haircuts as a way to meet people in the community. Even though my service was compensated, she still went above and beyond. She specializes in curly cuts, but I would honestly trust her with all hair types. I have wavy hair, and she created the perfect layers to give my hair movement and fullness. Thanks again, Kira!

I was deeply dissatisfied by my services with Alyson in spring 2025. I came in twice: first for a cut + color consult, and a second visit for bleach + color. I had hair that was growing out from a perm about 11 months prior. During the cut and consult, she said my hair seemed grown out enough and that we could do bleach + color no problem as she was able to "cut most of the remaining curl out". I did not think she had cut the curl out, and had just styled it straight, but rolled my eyes at it and moved on. At the dye appointment in April, Alyson expressed shock that my hair had so much curl in it, and confusion because she was sure it would not be curly. She then hemmed and hawed on if we could even bleach my hair at all and told me she was worried we would burn my hair off if we bleach

Sami Sue is one of the best hairstylists I’ve ever met. Respectful, honest, and educated - Sami Sue made sure to prioritize the health of my hair, and managed to make sense of my vision for my hair even though all I had to offer were some words and vague gestures. Now I have the lion’s mane of my dreams. Also, and I can’t stress this enough: best shampoo of my life. There were some massage techniques worked into the shampoo service that blew my mind. The shampoo room is cute and relaxing in that salon, it felt like a mini spa treatment.

I had a haircut with Sami Sue this morning and I’m overjoyed with the results! They have some fantastic hair knowledge they shared with me and really got the best look out of my hair. Marquee Salon has great parking and is located on a great street with lots of other cool spots to check out. The inside is colorful and inviting. I will for the foreseeable future be going to Sami Sue for all my hair cuts and you should too!
