Maritza Beauty Salon & Spa

had a very disappointing experience at Maritza Beauty Salon & Spa. I was told to come in, but when I arrived, a worker named Yonothan told me they were closed—while he was actively working on someone else’s hair. This is now the second time this has happened. What makes this even more upsetting is that I’ve been going to Maritza herself, the owner, since I was 4 years old. I expected much better communication and professionalism. Smh.

this place just ruin my hair, lady washed my hair and asked if I wanted deep conditioner and I said yes so then after the wash prima put me under the dryer. After, this young woman straightened my hair, I should my aunt and cousin and they said “hold up it looks too straight did they put relaxer?” (Keep in mind my mom did not say any relaxer and I DID NOT want a relaxer) so then I was confused because the only thing I thought of was when prima asked “deep conditioner?” So I said no. A few weeks later I washed my hair with my cousin (which was today) and those photos are how it came out the first two were how it was before, nice and curly and the next two were after and keep in mind I have relaxer in my hair before and my hair falls out and hasn’t fallen out in a while because I haven’t had

I would highly recommend! Everyone is kind. I felt like I was home. The stylist accepted me even with my textured hair being African American. They put so much love into caring for my end. I found my favorite hair salon. I will go again soon for sure

They're very professional people and cares about their customers service and very polite people I recommend anyone to maritza hair salon for nail eyebrows done anything you need to get done that have ot!!am very pleased with the outcome of it!!👍👍

I have been going to Maritza to get my hair blown out for years. I usually have my hair in braids but when I do get a blow out I come here. It just feels like home. I always feel welcome. I pass several other salons on the way, but that extra ten minutes is worth it. Jonathan did my hair and I love it!
