I usually get my hair done by a different stylist at Marietta’s, but her schedule is often booked, so I’ve been seeing Macara instead. First, I want to say that she does an absolutely wonderful job with colors and she’s always super sweet and nice to talk with. That said, I’ve noticed some issues when it comes to haircuts and following the exact style requests. For example, I’ve asked for a balayage on two occasions, and both times I was given highlights instead. Although I loved the color and how the highlights turned out, I was still expecting a balayage since that better fit the look I was going for. A balayage and highlights are similar, but they are not the same, and you can see the difference in the final result. If a stylist is not comfortable with a balayage, I think it’s importan
