I have been wondering why Marietta Times is so pro gas and oil industry activities and rarely, if ever, reports on the true nature of this oppressive beast?! Does Marietta Times get some sort of kickback for smudging the truth or being overly apologetic for this industry? Seems like it. Why else would they fail to mention the Rover pipeline has already failed and just spilled some 2 million gallons in an Ohio WETLAND! But yeah, sure...we in SE Ohio just LOVE this pipeline, we are all so excited to end up just like the 20 + other cases of leaks, explosions, eminent domain of our lands, and total lack of freedom to oppose this monstrosity. No longer a home town newspaper. Very little local news compared to the past. Very inconvenient having intake for placing articles, when you have to go through Parkersburg, WV office. Subscription cost is not equal to product published.
