Marie African hair braiding

Just moved to Raleigh and had a bad experience with a different stylist who had rescheduled me 6 times and then canceled on me 20 minutes before appointment. I called Marie very last minute and she got me in @ 5 even though she closed at 7. I didn’t get the name of the other lady who helped her, but thank you both so much! I love my hair and the service was wonderful! Will definitely be returning

I visited this salon for a pre-parting hair appointment, I am a DIY girl BUT when it comes down to parting it takes me fooooorever. I have a lot of hair, and the stylist created medium-sized parts with a short braid to hold them in place. The entire process took less than an hour and a half, which is including my sitting under the dryer for the moose to dry. The price was very reasonable considering the speed and neatness of the service. While I was there, there was no music or TV, so I recommend bringing something to entertain yourself. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this salon!

I moved from another so finding somewhere for my hair has been hard. Marie and Joslyn does so well taking care of me. I’ve been last minute booking and they’ve taken me right in. Joslyn has such a soft touch and Marie be moving so fast and talks to you as she knows you lol. I’m satisfied every time

This was my first time here. I called for a last minute appointment and they were able to take me. Marie responded promptly. I came and I brought my own hair. I asked for small knotless braids. I showed a picture. The timing was exceptional. However, I did not receive what I requested. My braids are not knotless. I think I have single feed ins but it’s neat. Just make sure you asked to see a sample of the braiders style of knotless. I had two braiders and they both braided different styles and sizes. I paid $250 with my own hair which is reasonable for medium “whatever” braids in 3.5 hours. Another lady came in for a redo on box braids. I saw the quality of her braids and I’m hoping she will be happy. Again, her style and redo was not quality. The customer service tone is great! The price
