Maria's Massage Spa

Cozy spot for a massage in Leesburg. Place is very clean and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. I request a deep tissue massage, as a massage therapist myself i feel it was a little light. However I’m sure for some it may be just what you need. Definitely worth a stop In.

I'm on a cross country road trip, currently in KY and visited some friends in Leesburg and they recommended this massage place. I agree with one of the earlier reviews and was not asked where I was in more pain or had any intake. I also agree that prices of a two hour massage is great, but my biggest beef is with the quality of the massage so I waited a few days to see if the massage relieved any pain. I booked a two hour deep tissue massage which means I wanted her to bring the pain and about 20 min into the massage, I told her should could add more pressure as up to that time, she was only using her hands and she did add some forearm and elbow but only shortly then back to the hands only surface level massage. I was on my way to somewhere else when I passed by the sign. Walk ins were welcome and my back was hurting. I couldn’t pass this up and was pleasantly surprised that I got right in. 60 minute deep tissue. Maria found all of the tight areas on my back and I never even had to ask her to adjust her pressure. She’s a natural and skilled masseuse. I only wish that I lived nearby because I would be a weekly regular. Highly recommend for a professional massage.

The location is great, but Maria has no idea how to do a real massage. It's clear she doesn't know what she's doing. She would stroke a spot on your shoulder like she's petting a cat until the spot is raw without even trying to get down into the muscles. This experience was so uncomfortable I nearly stood up and walked out a few times and when I did leave I was more stressed than when I arrived.

I cannot rave enough about my experience. Maria was awesome, i loved every minute of my massage, I will be booking with her going forward, best hidden gem in Leesburg
