Like most women, I am very particular about how my hair is cut. I like a full blended layer style (aka shag) and had a hard time finding someone in 4 states who understood the style. We came here on a vacation in June of 2023, and Janey was the one I was scheduled with. The trim was done right. Fast forward 9 months, and I scheduled with Maria's again, and Janey was once again the one available. She remembered me, and remembered the style I had and ensured it was still what I wanted. She was able to cut it to exactly the way I described. The only one in 4 states that understood the style and cut it to perfection! Highly recommend her.

My 3yr old got a hold of a pair of scissors on New Years Eve and did a complete butcher job of her long hair. Mitsy was able to accommodate us as a walk in on New Years Day and worked a true miracle on my daughter's hair given what she had to work with- so much so that her new short hair is actually starting to grow on me. Mitsy has a very lovely chair side manner- she was so sweet and made us feel very comfortable and at home. She was fantastic with my very young child. I also noticed the incredibly lovely job she did on two older clients before us- they both looked perfectly stunning walking out of the salon. I would very highly recommend Mitzy to anyone young or old. We will 100% be return clients.

So, I decided to wait until I was almost a month into my new hairstyle before giving a review. I've had some bad haircuts in the past. Many looked good for a few days and then turned into styling nightmares. So, I went to Mitsy with a bad haircut. She worked magic. I ended up with the perfect shag cut. I have naturally very wavy hair. With a bad cut, I look like Dorothy from The Golden Girls. I don't want an 80s short, curly cut. However, I can either flat iron this cut so the shag style shows or leave it wavy and it flows the way it should. I rarely return to the same stylist. But, that won't be the case this time. I would drive 200 miles to have her cut my hair. Oh, and extremely affordable as well.
