Mariam African Hair Braiding

I give it a 3/5. Overall the ladies are funny and Sweet! However when I got there for the first time, the price depends on the length of your braids. Originally I wanted butt Length and I was told it will be $300. I didn’t want to pay that amount so they did mid butt length which was $260. I didn’t have my hair washed( this is was very impromptu) so it was additional $20. You have to pay before service is rendered. I saw that using card to pay you are charged $5 extra. They told me if I wanted pay cash,I should go to use the ATM in the beauty store next door. The ATM charges you an Additional $3 fee for using 🙄. Asked me to pay before service 🙄 I felt like they rushed on my hair . Mind you I was the ONLY customer in the shop 3 people in my head . Braids big as hell . They added boho hair and did that horribly , some pieces are bigger than the other . Didn’t cut all the hair off that was sticking out . Not to mention my parts a big because they were rushing to finish. All this for $245. Not worth it and I will NEVER come back again . These folks are lazy and money hungry don’t really provide quality work .

They did a wonderful job on my hair. I gave them a $32 tip. I had got box braids, and I have really long natural thick hair. My hair was done in two hours and 30 minutes literally thankyou meme and Iesha 💕💕💕

This was my second time going here because the first time it took a long time however my braids were nice. This time a whole different experience. I call to make my appointment it was set for Sunday at 9am that’s the time she gave me. Ok that was fine. I sent her pics of what they did last time so she knew exactly what I was gettin she said it would be the same price as last time $280. On Saturday she calls and ask if I can come Now I live 45 minutes from the shop so of course I headed there even tho it was a rush. I also asked if I needed to buy my hair she told me that it would be better to purchase my Hair from next door to her salon to ensure it was the right hair. Long story short a few things went wrong Starting with her trying to charge me $350! On top of me purchasing my own hair.

My hairstylist cancelled on me last minute so I called Mariam and she told me to come in right away. The ladies were hospitable and friendly. She even helped me pick out hair at the beauty supply store. I got knotless boho braids and they look amazing! It's pricier than other places but I got an amazing result.
