Thank you Marcel. I must have visited around 6 barber shops before coming to this place. These barber shops know how to do proper fade and razor cuts, but no one knows how to do good scissor cut with layers. They always cut it too short and I end up looking like I cut it myself. It's hard to find a shop that does modern haircuts. If you have medium/long-length or curly hair, I recommend coming to Marcel - she will take care of you. She is very confident in her skills and will make sure you are happy with your haircut.

After trying to find the right barber on the UWS for years, I finally discovered Marcel - she is truly the best in the business, her scissor cuts are top notch, care and attention to detail you will only find at salons that cost three to four times as much. I have very thick, curly hair and while most barbers just run it over with a clipper, she took the time to part it, section it, and give special care to every angle and side with precision scissor cuts - I walked away with the best hair I’ve had since my wedding. Stop wasting your time and money at other barbers in the area, she puts them all to shame. Make sure you book online in advance, she’s very popular!

She took the time to ask exactly what I was looking for and checked in throughout the entire haircut to make sure everything was perfect.
