I am a 18 year old girl I have never took time outta my day to leave a negative review however I've been here 2x before both times I set an appointment and when I got there they took me abt an hr later both times. This time (MY LAST TIME) I went there I have showed them exactly what I wanted I wanted same length and everything and I was told it was 200 however when they finished my hair she then said it was 220 bc of the length (mind u it was the same length the reference picture had) they were very unprofessional and lowkey rude about it aswell and honestly their prices are alr pricey so | just feel completely SCAMMED. I had a very good experience here. I wanted to get tiny cornrows. Called last minute and they squeezed me in.The lady who did my hair was attentive and constantly asking if the braids were too tight, I didn't feel a thing. She did a great job and I have been getting a lot of compliments so far. It is kinda pricey here but the people are nice, bathroom is clean. Loved it and will be back.

The instructions that were given were not followed. I told Fatima I didn’t want it too long, I didn’t want someone I could not communicate with and I did not want someone who was in training. Fatima started pre-braiding my hair with cornrows telling me it’s faster if they add cornrows first and then take it out and do box braids. This is completely out of control. This is a hair salon for black hair and you don’t know that black hair is fragile and should not be over manipulated? What sense does it make to do cornrows and then do box braids excepts to irritate the scalp and make someone go bald??? Honestly thought I had a good experience at first, I got my hair braided in a corn roll style, looked great stylist did a great job! In the back of my hair the stylist did 4 small Knotless braids to alleviate any tension on my hair in the back that’s a bit shorter. Naturally those braids receive the most tension on the perimeter of my hair. I went in to get those 4 count them 4 small tiny Knotless braids redone, I was charged $40 dollars, so the equivalent of $10 a braid for my perimeter. Another stylist redid these small braids, it was pulling and leaving so much tension on my hair that it was causing swelling and so much pain I had to take it out in less than 48 hours. I have been going here since they had open, only salon I truly trust if not a private stylist. While I have had many style my hair here, the owner has done mines 4-5 times in the span of several years. & she still remembers how my hair is, & how to do it just right for me, she has even given pointers to other stylists working on my hair in the past. The quality of what she does is immaculate & she speedy as hell. Never disappointed when she does my head :)
