MakeIt Labs

MakeIt labs is a fantastic makerspace. I've been a member for just about a year and have taken several of the courses they offer. The other members I've met have all been great. Everyone has been helpful and friendly and there is a strong sense of community. The tools and resources are top notch and I've been able to do a lot of projects that just wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Highly recommended for anyone who like to make stuff whether out of wood, metal, plastic, cloth, clay, leather, stone, or just about anything else.

Makeit Labs is an amazing place for anyone who has an interest in making anything. For someone like me in the neurodiverse community it's a place like no other. Welcoming with an incredible group of people that are talented, creative and super helpful. The other day I started with a welding project, moved to cutting out some metal, embroidered a shirt with a pattern I created and then finished with laser etching a coaster. For my version of ADHD that is a peak day. 6 months ago I had never used a welder, laser, waterjet or embroidery machine and now I'm comfortable making things that I actually am proud to show.

If you like to build things, this is the place. All volunteer run, a huge array of tools and equipment. Been a member forever.

Make It Labs has so incredibly much to offer that there's something for anyone with creativity in their heart. The organization is volunteer run by some truly fantastic people. For all the resources they offer, membership is reasonable. The space is well maintained, clean, and has plenty to offer, from more expected resources, such as a wood shop and metal shop to valuable assets to members such as an automotive shop, laser etching, 3D printing, and so much more. From carving out a quiet corner to mark out your plans to taking a project from start to finish, this place has it all. It's an incredible resource for the community, and an excellent start for anyone who is interested in developing skills along the way.

First visit, attended open house. Amazing place, full of shared equipment and technology, for a reasonable monthly member fee. For those who seriously want to build a technology idea for themselves. From electronics to automotive to woodworking, and more. Also technology classes for non-members available, like building your first robot. Big place with lots of separated rooms dedicated to a particular machine technology.
