Kamaka is fantastic. I received two myofascial release and massage sessions and my chronic pain and limited range of motion is improving by leaps and bounds. Kamaka's knowledge and understanding of how connective tissue influences pain makes her a superb option for pain management.

I was experiencing edema in my left foot. My foot was so swollen that I couldn't wear regular shoes. Kamaka suggested that I make an appointment immediately which I did. The gentle MLD was so wonderful. By time Kamaka had finished, both of my feet went down and I was able to wear normal shoes again. I am so grateful that MLD is available for those who have to deal with both surgical and non surgical edema. I highly recommend Makalani Lymphedema and Massage. I not only appreciate that Kamaka massages gently, she also educates as she massages.

When the pandemic initially broke out, she was the only one I could turn to for my post surgical care. I was in so much pain and when she graced me with her healing hands I have been a repeat customer ever since! I love that she also takes the time to educate you as well as show you how to massage yourself in between visits if you’re able. I have been going to Makalani for a year now for my post op manual lymphatic massages and I absolutely love and adore her! After my first session with her in december 2020 I immediately seen and felt a difference in my body and have been going to her consistently ever since.
