MAK Nail Bar & Organic Spa LLC

I came Back to MAK after a few years on Saturday for a gel pedicure and it was the best pedicure I ever had. I appreciate that there are no chemicals in the products used and now I am staying with this nail studio. My only complaint is that there were two ladies next to me talking extremely loud it turned a lot of heads and made it a little less relaxing. But that is not anyone’s fault. I have my next appointment booked for March and I So excited!! Thank you!

I was a loyal customer at Mak Nail Salon for six months, scheduling appointments every two weeks for gel/powder manicures. Despite minor chipping issues starting a day or two after application, I continued visiting for the convenience and service I initially enjoyed. However, my most recent experience was alarming. After a tip nail fell off, I discovered a green/black discoloration underneath where the product was applied. Concerned, I removed my other nails and found that multiple nails were affected by a severe infection, likely due to moisture trapped by improper application or unsanitary tools/products. I scheduled an appointment early and was told to sit down and I waited about 5 minutes another client walked in and they immediately took care of her. I was then told to just wait a minute after about 10 mins I was then helped and finally able to pick my nail color out. They rushed through my dip powder manicure and it was very lumpy and I get square shape all the time and they barely shaped it well. I won’t be going back but there was a few other nail techs that was good before but this one was very quick and careless. I also requested a manicure as well and did not receive it. The tech seemed annoyed. I have gotten my nails done a few times there and they usually do a good job but this was very tacky.

UPDATE!!!! You only see my last service but if you read my review my MOTHER IN LAW set this up so it would be under her name not mine! Angel had this place much nicer when she ran it. As an owner I would never treat my customers this way and or send money to someone else! But I’m glad I saw what I did to make my decision on never coming back! Thank you for that! It’s a shame all the local food places are going to crap around here! My Mother in Law took me here since it was close and USED to be such a good place… as I’m sitting there looking around trying to enjoy my pedicure I see how dusty and dirty the floor was and then out comes a bug that went across the floor, the nail tech saw it and quick looked away to act like nothing happened… I thought it was a very strange looking bug, so of

I’m from out of town, but even if I lived around here I wouldn’t come back. The lady doing my nails was on FaceTime & YouTube the whole time. She showed my face to the person on the other end of the phone without my consent. She was so distracted that she didn’t notice her own UV lamp wasn’t on while my hands were under the light (I had to tell her 4 times). Then she started talking about me in her native language which I really didn’t like. On top of all that, she was rough with my hands. My nails turned out nice but the process was ridiculous.
