Mahoua Hair Braiding

Came here for the first time and a pleasant experience. Was seated fast and the girl who did my hair didn't braid my hair tight at all. I got feeder braids into a ponytail. I love the results and received many compliments. I showed her a picture and it turned out just the way I wanted. will be back

I love her service. It seem like after the covid she closed down . I hope she and her staff are OK. Also does she have a new location been trying to contact her. Miss her doing my hair

I wanted a few cornrows for a quick vacation. She gave me exactly what I asked for in less than 2 hrs. I asked her not to braid it too tight and she sorta listened. My only complaint is that my natural hair is curling up through the hair and it's only been 4 days, not sure if that's anyone's fault.

I went to this establishment in an attempt to get Senegalese twist, I was told it would be $160. I agreed but when I sat in the chair and was asked to pick my color, I was then told that color would be "extra." There was no mention of an additional charge for color when I inquired about the price but as soon as I sat in the chair upcharges were already being included in my tab. I advised them I would not be proceeding and headed for the door, another lady said "wait wait...come come...we do it." I declined. This is a poor business practice and very distasteful, all costs should be mentioned upfront and not after we agree to a price. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing this business again. I was able to find another salon that charged $150 for EVERYTHING included.
