Honestly one of the worst decisions I ever made regarding salons. Her communication skills are not up to par. When I entered her establishment she did not greet me. She did not listen to me nor what I required for my hair. She kept oddly debating me about keratin treatments. It's never that deep. I was very dissatisfied with my hair results. Then she said that what she decided to with MY HAIR looked better than what I WANTED! She kept emphasizing the volume and density in my hair and wishing she had it. I asked for a roller set and a medium heat blow dry for a voluminous look. She gave me a moussed flex rod set. Curls were tighter than I wanted. Completely unprofessional. Don't recommend at all. My experience with them was amazing! The whole staff have great customer service and they care about the customers. Just walking in their spirit and how they welcome people is amazing, they give you exactly what you want and then some. They stuck with me for life I'm coming in every other week!

My mother was visiting from out of town and came to Mahia’s to have her hair colored. A lovely stylist took her in without an appointment and was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. My mother also got great advice on how to keep her hair stronger and healthier. Her hair looks amazing! A great treat for her birthday. Thanks Mahia’s for the excellent service.

My sister was supposed to be getting her hair done here but I felt like they wanted to get over on us they wanted to over charge my sister just wanted a sew in at the end of the day and they wanted to charge 575 if my sister asked to get her hair dyed and for the sew in and for the sew in to be dyed because they didn’t have her color and we were told they provided all of this and they wanted to charge 800+ when we walked in they commented on my hair which I didn’t feel necessary when I was in the background they gave us looks constantly and were unprofessional seemed like they were pulling prices from there asses turns out my sister was texting the owner the whole time and the owner didn’t communicate with her stylists we had an 11:30 appointment and came early very unprofessional, very ov

I went to Mahia's Salon for the first time Saturday after being referred by a good friend of mine. I went in for a haircut and style and I must say I am inlove with my hair. Tia did an amazing job on the cut and styling it. The environment was really nice and chill it was busy so I was there for a while but I didn’t mind. I damaged my hair so I definitely will be going here to get my hair healthy again as it grows back
