Magic Nails Spa

Ladies of Chicago, why do you patronize these kinds of nail salons? I'm visiting a friend and was recommended to stop by Magic Nail Spa on Western Ave and Madison Street because it was near by our suites. This place is so dirty! Water on the floor, they do not clean their pedicure and manicure stations. The stations was packed with people. They do not sanitize NOTHING, they recycle and use the same pedicure and manicure tools for each customer. What a petri dish for bacteria. A few people prayed that they do not get fungal or bacterial infections. There is no service/price menu which means, they are overpriced and charging anything. They use alcohol to cleanse your eyebrows. They don't have skills to manage NATURAL NAILS!!! If your nail technician doesn't have the abilities to manage NAT

I usually always go here for my eyebrows because I’m not a big fan of their nail work. Only certain people there go good. But today was horrible and I honestly didn’t release until I looked at a mirror at home. They didn’t look that bad when she handed me the mirror I’m so annoyed and will not be coming back I barely have eyebrows and she cut the tail shorter on my right brow and still left some kind of hair so I wouldnt Notice. Their swelling more then usual , I dnt recommend.

My intuition told me not to go here and to stick with a Black-owned salon in Oak Park, but since I was nearby, I gave them another try. I’ve been here before and had a decent experience, but this time was completely different. The tech who did my nails (Sam — names might be switched around, so beware) acted like he was upset to even be working. I asked for a simple French tip, nothing extravagant, and when I requested something to be redone or adjusted, he huffed and puffed like I was asking for the impossible. At one point, all I wanted was another layer of polish, and he still caught an attitude. That’s basic customer service, not a debate. His colleague even tried to excuse his behavior, but I don’t care about excuses, I’m paying for the service to be done right, period. Everyone else

They rushed my nails I didn't like it so the lady was trying to charge me to change it I went off then another tec came and did something simple and rushed it I asked him who was the last manager he said he was. I said and what's your name here told me and I asked for her name and I told him I know the manager is the little young lady and asked when will she be in because she not here. He said oh she's home I said so when is she back he said Wednesday I said oh I'll be calling or I'll be back. He was just as rude as the lady that he corrected the my nails for. I absolutely hate this place. I've never had a bad experience in there and I've been there in several occasions but this one today make me not ever want to step foot in there again.
