Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Walnut Creek

Love Madison Reed. It’s convenient for me, staff is always nice and I view my appointments as mandatory ME time. It’s just an hour and a half service but I enjoy sitting there with no interruptions and not having to do anything at all. Products are mild on my hair, no issues, happy with the color. I can’t imagine not having a monthly membership! Also love all the positive affirmations around the salon.

The hair and the experience was great. This is only 3 stars because my wife shared a photo with the colorist and it is not what she got. My daughter wanted lighter and and the pictures she shared were much lighter than what she got. The colorist offered to lighten it more but my daughter was in a little bit of a schedule. You would figure after 3 hours it would be what you asked for and for the $$$. She does love her hair, just wanted it lighter.

Do not come to the salon!! This is my first time visiting this salon, I gave them my inspo picture, and they said they could do it. They told me my root is dark so my color will not 100% match but will blend nicely Iike a balayage (as I quote the hairstylist and the manager). The after, you can see my black root hair and it did not blend in. I wish they had told me they couldn’t do it, or I would’ve paid extra to get my roots lifted so my hair color would match. When I said I did not like how I could clearly see a line separating the 2 colors, the hair stylist told me to come back next week, she would fix it for free. She told me to come back inside to schedule an appointment, but she changed her mind and told me to wait. She went to speak to her manager and came back and told me to go som

I went to the MR in Walnut Creek. It was the first time that I went there and the stylist there did a very good job. I had a root cover up and highlights and she was super careful not to leave the lightening product in too long and the color came out amazing.

Subject: Feedback Regarding Recent Salon Experience I had a very disappointing experience at the Walnut Creek salon today. The person who shampooed my hair seemed extremely inexperienced. It took nearly 15 minutes just to shampoo my hair, and even after I specifically asked her to focus on a particular area of my scalp that she repeatedly missed, she ignored my request and proceeded to shampoo my hair a second time instead. When she appeared to be finished, she began looking through my hair and rinsed it again—multiple times. By the time I got up from the chair, the entire back of my shirt was drenched. There was no expression of concern for my comfort, nor was I offered a towel; I had to ask for one myself. No apology was given at any point. This is not the first negative experience I’ve
