Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Rockville

It was a disappointing first time experience. The stylist was pleasant, and I admired her work with others. However, I specifically requested no orange tones in my highlights, but this was not met. When I asked to tone down the color, I was told it would darken my hair. The suggested solution was to add more highlights, but unfortunately this left me with an unsightly batch of blonde bangs. When I asked for a discount for their coloring mistake, the stylist said i had to pay the full price. Very disappointing for a first time customer. Will NEVER go back again!

Worst experience! I’m six months pregnant and have avoided dying my hair but I’m going on a baby moon and have a baby shower coming up. Heard Madison Reed uses-“non toxic” products so I made an appt. My roots turned out brassy and completely orange! (my hair is black) and there is no proper explanation other than “oops sorry not sure what happened” 1.5 hrs later! The tech said she can’t fix it because she must leave to her son’s play and wants to give me product to go home and re-do it all myself!?! I almost started crying so Then she proceeded to expose me to more chemicals in a very rushed fashion ( which I was reluctant to be exposed to in the first place) and said the ten minute root touch up should do the trick and dashed out! It did not- my roots are still orange. I’m so disappointed

I got a root touch-up and I love the color, but the shampoo service was disappointing. I really care about having my hair properly washed after coloring. My ears were wet, and when I checked, there was dye all over. I will have to wash again at home.

Amazing experience and I love my color! Everyone is so nice and my stylist was incredible!

Final update: I did send an email as requested in their response from my review. I was offered a correction appointment free of charge or a refund. My decision was granted. Which I do appreciate……I wanted to love it. My first and last time of going unfortunately.i was looking for my go to place. If they only do color I was expecting to love it. I had a full color and balayage. I was asked if I always have my hair split in the middle. I said yes, although the hair was split in the middle, one side has much more blond than the other side. I hate it! Update: I did respond via email to see what they have to say as I see that the response is the same for a lot of us unhappy customers.
